I’m thankful for radiators, especially on mornings when it’s below freezing and I have to be up at 6.
I’m thankful for down filled blankets and quilts when the radiator has inexplicably failed to kick in during the night.
I’m thankful for coffee and its many healing properties.
I’m thankful for brownies that arrive suddenly and without warning in the mail.
I’m thankful for customers with a sense of humor and customers who reshelve their product if they don’t want it instead of leaving it in a pile on the floor.
And on that note, I’m thankful for fellow employees who make the job more fun than it would otherwise be and who help make those tedious moments pass by all the more quickly.
I’m thankful for my friends, who’ve been there for movie marathons, Warhammering, beers, all night conversations, video gaming, venting and have just generally kept me sane for years.
I’m thankful for my family, who’ve supported me for the entirety of my life and who’ve helped to insure that this new stage of my life has gone off without a hitch. Without them, I’d not be the person I am today and I’d not be where I am today; happy.
I’m thankful for series of events that lead to Emily and me being together now. We are beyond lucky to have even found each other, even more so to have reached this point and for that I’ll always be thankful.
